Gypsum or hydrated calcium sulfate (CaSO4 2H2O) is a very common mineral occurring in crystals and in masses. Gypsum is extracted from quarries in blocks. Gypsum is of white color and sometimes white-gray when it contains a high level of Anydhrite.
Gypsum is mainly used by the cement plants at the final blending stage to prevent flash setting of the concrete as well as by the Plaster plants that require high quality / purity gypsum for their plaster production. Our current sources of supply cover Asia, Middle East, Africa and Europe.
